MTC Help: Inspections Application
Inspections Preferences & Templates


To view and update Preferences, click on Preferences from the tab drop down menu or the blue horizontal menu bar from within the Inspections Application.
 

General Preferences:

1. PM Equipment & Assets
 From the left-hand side choose the property you need to update. Check the box next to Show Preventative Maintenance Equipment in Assets. Checking this box, will allow for all PM Equipment to now be chosen as an Asset when scheduling inspections. All inspections scheduled and completed for PM Equipment will also be seen within the PM Application.

2. Ad Hoc Inspections Ad hoc inspections allow users to duplicate and start a new inspection while in the field on the Mobile Task Manager. To turn on this capability for MTM users choose the property you would like to activate this feature for and check the box next to Allow Users in the Mobile Task Manager to use ad hoc Inspection Tasks.

If you would like to add either of these features to all properties within your portfolio you can do so by checking Copy these settings over to your other buildings (3). Click Save once selections are made.

 
Inspection Templates Click Inspection Templates (1) from the left-hand side. Listed here will be a number of preloaded Inspection templates that can be duplicated, edited and used for your own property(ies). Click on the Preview (2) link next to an Inspection template name to review the inspection. If you would like to use any of the inspections provided, click Use (3) in the right-hand column. This will bring you the Edit Inspection page where you can customize and schedule the inspection.
