MTC Help: Inspections Application
Completing Inspections (Mobile Task Manager)

All inspections can be completed using the Mobile Task Manager App. The Mobile Task Manager web app is accessible on a desktop computer or the native app for mobile devices can be downloaded from the Apple App or Google Play store.

Access to the Mobile Task Manager is managed within each User's Profile in the Contact Management application within the Maintenance Center.

From within the Mobile Task Manager, scroll down to the Inspection Section (1) to view inspections due today, open, completed, in progress, past due, as well as all inspections.

Click on the gear shift in the grey bar to manage the Inspection display settings (2). Here you can add/remove the sections you want to see and move them by dragging and dropping by using the three grey bars. Click "Go Back" (3) at the bottom of the page to return to the menu.

To begin completing an inspection, choose the Inspection that needs to be done from the list (4) by clicking on it, and click Start (5) at the bottom of the page.

Read and answer each question of the inspection. Questions may be yes/no, multiple choice and others may allow to fill in your own response.

Below each question there are options for adding (6):
1. Notes - allows you to put in a note about each question.
2. Images - upload a photo or document to attach to the question.
3. Tasks - allows you to create a Service Request or PM Repair Job if you come across something that needs to be addressed mid-Inspection.

In the top right there is a down arrow (7) that allows you to view progress on the inspection, pause or leave the inspection (8). Selecting pause stops the timer on this inspection task. Clicking leave allows you to get out of the inspection if you need to go do something else.

Clicking Next (9) in the bottom right takes you to the next page of the inspection.

Once you reach the last page of your Inspection you will find the Complete (10) button at the bottom, click it to finish your Inspection. The next page will show you the Inspection, Asset and Building name. It shows that the inspection is completed, when it was started and finished, a score, if applicable, who completed it and total time (11). Below the Inspection details, you will see all of the Inspection questions and corresponding answers (12). The Go Back (13) button will take you back to the Inspection Lists.  Edit (14) will let you go back in and make changes to your responses.
